Give somebody their year, in their own words.
One written question each morning, chosen for what is actually going on in their life. A few lines is enough. Next January, what they wrote arrives as a book.
WHY THIS ONE
Most presents are things. This one makes something.
You are not giving them an app. You are giving them a year of their own writing, bound, with their name on nothing and their life in all of it.
They will remember what happened this year. What they lose is the person they were while it was happening.
That is the part a photograph does not hold, and it is the part this keeps.
AND THERE IS SOMETHING TO HAND OVER
A card, not an email receipt.
The usual trouble with giving a subscription is that there is nothing to wrap. You get a card to print, with the code on it, and a line from you if you want one.

One question a day.
A book of your year.
For you, from me.
Start whenever you like.

INNERFOLK.CO/REDEEM
Sent as a PDF the moment you buy, so you can print it tonight. Or send the code and skip the paper.
THE OBVIOUS ALTERNATIVE
A beautiful notebook is a lovely thing to fail at.
Most people have one. Four entries in January, and then it sits in a drawer looking reproachful. That is almost never about discipline.
The hard part was never the writing. It was sitting at a blank page at seven in the morning being asked to decide what mattered.
A question is easier to answer than a page is to fill. That is the whole difference, and it is why this one gets used.
A SPREAD FROM A 2027 EDITION
HOW IT WORKS
Three things, and two of them are yours.
You buy it and get a code.
Straight away, with a card to print. Nothing is sent to them until you hand it over.
They redeem it whenever they like.
No card, no payment, no trial. The year starts on the day they begin, not the day you bought it.
Today’s question
What are you pretending doesn’t bother you anymore?
Start anywhere.
Their year becomes a book.
Twelve months of writing, typeset and bound. We email you when they redeem it, and then we leave you alone.
TWO WAYS TO GIVE IT
The difference is whether the book arrives in the post.

BEFORE YOU BUY
The things people ask.
What if they never redeem it?
The code does not expire. We remind you once, three weeks on, and then leave it. If it is never used, email us and we will refund it.
Will they be charged anything?
No. Not at the start, not at the end. A gifted year is prepaid and it simply stops. We ask them once, a month before, whether they want to carry on.
Can I see what they write?
No, and neither can we. Their journal is private from everybody including us and including you. That is the point of it.
When does their year start?
The day they redeem, not the day you buy. Give it in December and they can start in January without losing a month.
What if I do not know their email?
You do not need it. The code is all that is required, and they enter their own address when they redeem.
Next January, they will have this year in their own words.
Because you thought of it now.
