Today's question
What do you hope you’ll remember about right now?
Start anywhere.
WHY WRITE ANY OF IT DOWN
Remember what it was like to be you.
Think back five years. You probably remember where you lived and what you did for work. But what were you hoping for? What kept running through your head?
That's the part that fades first. A few lines now keeps it, in your own words.
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps. Two minutes a morning.
Most of us have a notebook with three entries in it. Writing was never the hard part. Knowing where to start was.
Which one is loudest?
Work.

Tell us what's on your mind.
Work, love, money, something ending, or nothing much. It takes a minute.
Get one question each morning.
By email, chosen for what you told us. Reply with a few lines and it's saved to your journal.
Your year becomes a book.
At the end of your year, everything you wrote is typeset into a book you keep.
NO. 61 · MARCH 14
It's fine. The money is fine, everyone is nice, and I think I might actually be ready to leave.
Still true?
You wrote this 183 days ago.
Along the way, your own words come back and ask: still true?
Most journaling apps never end. Your Innerfolk year does.
THE QUESTIONS
The question changes because your life does.
Pick what's going on for you to see what you'd be asked.
Every question is written and approved by a person.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE
The things people ask.
Yes. Every entry is private the moment you write it, stored in a file of its own. Nothing you write is sold, used for ads, or used to train AI models. Sharing is your choice, one answer at a time.
No. Your question arrives by email each morning. Reply with your answer and it’s saved to that day in your journal. You can also open your journal in any browser, on your phone or computer. There’s no password: we email you a link to sign in.
Nothing happens. No streaks, no badges, no emails asking where you’ve been. Most people write a few times a week, and you can change how often we ask or turn the reminder off.
People: writers, therapists, and people who have been through what a question is about. Every question has a person’s name on it. None are generated on the spot.
Tap Not right and another one arrives. If there’s something you’d rather never be asked about (a person, a loss, a subject), tell us once and it won’t come up again.
You have 7 days before you’re charged. To cancel, email support@innerfolk.co. One line is enough, and we handle it the same working day. No retention offer, no questions asked. Everything you wrote exports as plain text.
Your year starts the day you join, so your book covers a full year from that date. The digital book arrives within a week of your year closing. On the Edition plan, the printed copy is mailed within 4 weeks of your year closing.
Your next year starts in the same journal, with everything you’ve written still there. A new year, a new book.
A year from now, you'll have this year in your own words.
What you hoped for. What made you laugh. What you couldn't quite explain.
This year is happening either way.
