Postpartum support ends long before the first year does.
Your families’ first year, in their own words.
Give the families you serve an offer only you can make: seven days free, then $79 for their first year of Innerfolk, $20 off the usual price. One question each morning, and a book of their first year as parents.
- Free for doulas to join
- Nothing about families shared
- No referral payments, ever
You’re there for the hardest weeks.
You support families through birth and the first weeks at home: the feeds, the sleep, the questions nobody else can answer at two in the morning.
But your visits end, and the first year keeps going. Many of the hardest days come later, after the help has gone home.
A question each morning keeps a small, private place open for them, between your visits and long after.
Why doulas offer it
It adds to your care without adding to your day, and it costs you nothing.
An offer only you can make
$20 off their first year, on a card with your name on it.
A reason families remember you
Your name is on the card and on the first page they see.
No extra work
You hand over the card, and we take care of the rest.
Visits that start with what matters
Before each visit, parents can write down what they want to talk about.
What a family receives
The first year, written by the parent, for the parent.
Seven days free, then $79
Their first year for $20 less than anyone else pays. The Edition, with the book printed and mailed, is $249.
One question each morning
Short enough to answer at 3 a.m. A few lines are enough on any day.
Complete privacy
You never see their journal, and nobody at Innerfolk reads it.
A book of their first year
At the end of the year, what they’ve written becomes a book, ready to print, or printed and mailed with the Edition.
Help on hard days
Every page shows the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline and 988. If a loss happens, one tap stops the questions about parenthood.
Today's question
What do you hope you’ll remember about right now?
Start anywhere.
Written for every family
The first-year questions are written for every family: birthing and non-birthing parents, adoptive and surrogacy families, single parents and same-sex couples, of any faith or none.
They are also written knowing that not every birth goes as planned, and that the first year looks different in every home.
Your visits, starting with what matters
Before each visit, the parent writes down what they want to talk about on their own visit page. At the visit, they show it to you on their phone. You see only what they choose to share, never their journal.

What they want to talk about
I’d like to talk about how the birth went.

THE DOULA DESK
BRING TO YOUR VISIT
For Thursday, October 15
Only what you put here. Nothing leaves this page unless you share it.
THE FAMILY’S VISIT PAGE
Families can show their visit page at your visit from the start. Sending it to your desk ahead of time opens once our data agreements with doulas are in place.
How it works
Three steps, and most of the work is ours.
Talk with us
Fifteen minutes, in person or by phone. We’ll answer every question you have.
Get your cards, free
We print cards with your name and your own code. You also get a free year for yourself, and one free year to give to a family of your choice.
Hand them to families
At your last prenatal visit or your first postpartum visit. Families start with seven days free.

The card
What you’d hand a family. A sample; yours carries your name and your code.
What they see when they scan it
The card opens a page made for your families, with your name at the top.
- Your name, and the offer you’re making them: seven days free, then $79 for their first year.
- What Innerfolk is, in plain words, and that it’s about them, not the baby’s milestones.
- How their privacy is protected, and where to find help on hard days.
It opens as a preview, with your name shown as “your name” and the buttons turned off.
What we promise
What you can tell the families you serve.
- We never pay for referrals. Your recommendation stays yours.
- Nothing about the families you serve passes to us from you. You hand over cards, and that’s all.
- You can see how many families started with your code, never who.
- A perinatal mental health specialist reviews every question before any family sees it.
- Families decide for themselves. Stopping takes one tap.
- Families get a reminder before their year renews, and can cancel from their account at any time.
- We never show families ads or market other products to them.
- It’s a private journal, not counseling and not a crisis service. Every page shows the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline and 988.
Questions doulas ask
What you’ll likely want to know before you start.
Is there a cost to me?
No. Joining is free. We print your cards and send them to you.
Do you pay doulas for referrals?
No, and we never will. What you offer families is a price they can’t get anywhere else, and your recommendation stays yours.
Can I include it in my packages instead?
Yes. Buy cards at the partner price, $49 for a year or $149 for the Edition, and set your own package price. Families should know a year of Innerfolk is included.
What about families who can’t afford it?
Your free year to give is there for a family who’d find the price hard. For clients covered by Medicaid, we suggest not adding Innerfolk to their bill, and checking your program’s rules.
Should I mention the free year Innerfolk gave me?
If you post about Innerfolk publicly, yes. A simple line saying Innerfolk gave you a free year keeps your recommendation honest.
What if a family loses a baby?
One tap stops the questions about parenthood. They can move into questions written for grief, or stop entirely, and nothing more arrives.
Who reviews the questions?
A perinatal mental health specialist, independent of any partner, reviews every question before a family sees it.
Does the visit page replace my own check-ins?
No. It’s the family’s own page. It helps each visit start with what matters to them.
Who is behind Innerfolk?
Innerfolk is a small company in Annapolis. You’ll always deal with its founder directly.
Your care, carried through the first year.
Families you serve have a quiet place to turn each morning, between your visits and long after them. And at the end of the year, they have a book of their own words.
I’m Brandon Martin, and I built Innerfolk here in Annapolis. I’ll meet any doula who’d like to talk it through in person, and you’ll always deal with me directly.
If this sounds right for the families you serve, I’d be glad to hear from you, and to bring sample cards when we meet.
Thank you for the care you give families in their first weeks.
